Saturday Night ... It's Night Date ...?
Wondering ... as we have several different counties in here. The average date is similar in your country? Any fresh traditions or taboo? In Norway, when a girl of age, his father told him that was available for marriage. The girl put a empty sheath on her belt. If a man liked the girl, put a knife in the scabbard, and the girl wore as a sign that was promised. Ta Da ... Wow that was easy .. Anyone know any others?
In Canada, went out to dinner, possibly to a movie, then go somewhere to distinguish.

Passion of the Christ: Songs (Original Songs Inspired by the Film)

What exactly is a Swedish massage? I this research a lot of people who have never had a massage before. First, Swedish work not actually involve deep, specific work, as in Triggerpoint or deep tissue work. It consists mainly of long, gliding strokes, but can be integrated to some extent, with deep tissue work, depending on customer requirements and deadlines for the award of the session.
Some of the techniques go a little deeper in muscle, but again, certainly not as deep as Triggerpoint or deep tissue. It is wonderful for general relaxation, however, that work has a kind of flow and rhythm. It is wonderful for stress, and to help the immune system.
The term "Swedish massage" is confusing, because it originated in Sweden was the initiator or a Swede! Nor is Swedish massage in Sweden!
In Europe, the technique is called "classic massage." In the U.S., this term are used infrequently, or is called "Swedish Classic.
And to add to the confusion, some of the techniques have French names! In total, it is considered the art form most basic of all types of massage, which is why so often used in spas and resorts. For many of us LMT, is our "bread and butter."
Here is a brief history of modern Swedish Massage: First, (and I may be criticized for saying this) Peter Henry Ling (1776-1837) was not the father of Swedish massage. Not part of your workout program in the Central Institute of Gymnastics in 1813. Johan Mezger (1838-1909) was the true father and began to use French terminology to describe the techniques. Ling techniques are based more on the kinesiology, the study of motion.
Finally, the medical community gathered around this, and in the 1890s, a man named John Harvey Kellogg, MD, began popularizing the Sanitarium in Battle Creek in Michigan, and elsewhere around the world. The term "spa" was not popular then. This was not a mental institution, just a place to relax!
Kellogg had full range of therapies, however, such as hydrotherapy, light (solar), therapy, exercise and weight loss programs, nutrition, and many others.
In the movie "Titanic", you'll see a scene that shows some of the weight training devices used at the time. They even had "massage machines. Many funny scenes in the Three Stooges, "" Little Rascals "and so involved playing with a machine that had a vibrating belt that was around his waist. The machines were still in use in the 1930s, even through the 1950s. These originated in sanatoriums.
Steam bathing machines were also popular. Modern Pilates fans also will notice some Pilates equipment in that scene, widgets with ropes and pulleys. That, however, was designed by Joseph Pilates, a dance instructor. Side note: Pilates "reformer" is nothing new. The modern version has been simplified a bit! Mr. Pilates practiced in the 1920s.
In short, the origins Modern Massage Swedish actually came from the gymnastics community,
(Gymnastics was much more popular than it is today), and Swedish massage has been extended to ever since. It is often used in connection with this team
These days, you will see the benefits of Swedish Classic, such as the beautiful California based "Massage Esalen ", which adds a much greater emphasis to the" flow "is almost like a dance! So if you're ever in Big Sur, will massage on a porch with overlooking the cliffs and waves. You can not beat that!
Some terms and techniques of Swedish Massage: (Qu'est-que-c'est?)
Effleurage:
Long strokes slip, ideal for "opening and the greeting" in the area, such as the upper back, shoulders, neck. A well effleurage not use too much oil or lotion! Ideally, there should be only a little friction to the area to work properly. A lot of LMT make this mistake.
Petrissage:
Imagine yourself "knead" the dough. It's that simple. Petrissage goes a little further, but it is still "general" compared to "deep tissue" work, which is more specific and targeted. This technique helps you relax the superficial layers of muscle fascia, a sheath of cartilage that surrounds every muscle, and can be found just below the first layer of skin.
Tapotement:
Tapping, drumming movements with different names like "Windy", "slapping" (careful!) "Squawk" or "click", where the hands are joined in a position of "prayer" and played drums on the client, making a strange sound. Also we see in old films, it is fun to watch, but personally, I do not do it unless the customer has requested. I like my sessions a little easier.
A Swedish massage last installment:
Vibration:
Overall, This is done with the hands of therapists. Ideal for the release of the shoulders and neck. There are plenty of massage cushions, chairs, and massage products are mainly based on this technique, many of them combine this with the heat also. They work well! I have a cushion for office chair has vibrant vibrant points at intervals up and down the center of the spine. Ideal for "realign your Chakras" but it's a completely different article!
So if you just relax and not feeling the tension in a specific area the body, try a Swedish
massage from a professional license.
